'Old Whelkers' Morston Quay

I absolutely love the way that the watery creeks create such interesting and intricate lines through the flat marshes, meandering gracefully and disappearing onto the distant horizon.   The old wooden boats, affectionately known as 'Whelkers', provide wonderful foreground interest and striking contrast with the diverse shapes and vibrant colours of the surrounding landscape, enhancing the overall beauty of the scene. These boats, with their weathered textures and rustic charm, tell stories of the past and invite one to imagine the adventures they have witnessed over the years.
