‘Fishing Boats at Rest’ Thornham Old Harbour Norfolk

I created this artwork outdoors at one of my favorite coastal locations in North Norfolk, accompanied by my loyal dog Archie. I utilise a palette of vibrant and rich colours to effectively convey the essence of the scene. The cool blues of the shaded riverbank contrast with the warm greens of the grassy marshland behind. I have employed a palette knife and a broad brush to preserve a dynamic and expressive quality that truly reflects nature's shapes.
