'Azure Sea' Embleton Bay Northumberland

This picture is painted using pastel à l'ecu which are a rich and highly pigmented pastel.  I love using them because they blend wonderfully and create stunning effects on the paper.  I often visit this part of the coast, where the scenery is breathtaking, and I love how vivid the colours of this seascape.
